What we collect
Creating an account gives us your email address and a password hash, handled by Better Auth in our own database — we never see or store your plaintext password. Once you are signed in, every Draft you submit and every Rewrite we produce is stored against your account, along with how many Runs and Detector Checks you have used this month. If you upgrade to Pro, we also keep a reference to the Stripe customer and subscription that upgrade created.
We do not collect your card number, expiry date or CVC. Stripe collects those directly on its own page during Checkout; they never reach our servers, and nothing in our database has a column for them.
Using the Workspace without an account
The Free Plan lets you run the Workspace without an account, up to the Word Cap. That Run is computed and shown to you, then discarded on our side the moment the response finishes: it is never written to our database, never written to a Draft, and never counted against any Run Allowance. There is no anonymous row anywhere in our systems for us to show you, export or delete, because none is created. Once you sign in, a Run instead becomes a Draft stored against your account, as described above.
Who else sees your text
Un-AI Text runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the application and stores signed-in Drafts and Rewrites on our behalf. Before an anonymous Run — one you submit without being signed in — Cloudflare's Turnstile challenge runs in your browser to tell a person apart from a script: it collects browser and connection signals of its own and produces a token, which our server sends back to Cloudflare together with your IP address to confirm before the Run is accepted. Signing in skips this entirely; an account already tells us more than a challenge would. We do not store that token, and neither it nor the IP address from this check is written to our database or any log. Every Run, whether or not you are signed in, sends your Draft to Google's Gemini model through Cloudflare AI Gateway to produce the Rewrite — that is the one destination every Run reaches. If you hold the Pro Plan and choose to run a Detector Check, the Rewrite you check is separately sent to Sapling, a third-party detection service, which reports back a figure we display under its name; this only happens when you ask for it. If you upgrade to Pro, Stripe processes the charge and holds your card details and email address for that purpose. No one else receives your text, and we do not sell it or share it for advertising.
Training
We do not use your Draft or Rewrite text to train any model, ours or anyone else's. The Naturalness Signals reported after a Run are computed directly from your text at the moment of the Run and are not stored as training data.
Deleting your account
Write to support@un-ai-text.com and we will delete your account. That removes your Drafts, your Rewrites, your usage records and your Stripe reference from our database, and removes the corresponding Draft and Rewrite bodies from object storage. If you hold an active subscription, cancel it in the billing portal first, or tell us and we will point you to it — deleting the account does not by itself stop a Stripe subscription from renewing.
